The TWU T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences-Dallas Center
Currently,
the Institute of Health Sciences – Dallas Center has two locations:
The Parkland campus, near Parkland Memorial Hospital, which houses the College of Nursing and our nationally recognized Stroke Center, and the Presbyterian campus, adjacent to Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, which houses TWU’s nationally ranked programs in occupational therapy and physical therapy.
The new TWU T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences – Dallas Center
(completion 2011) will combine the two campuses into a dynamic “campus-in-one-building” at the Parkland site. TWU will gain operational efficiencies, incorporate industry-standard, state-of-the-art technology into TWU’s education of healthcare professionals, help address the critical shortages of healthcare professionals through increased enrollment, and educate together the disciplines needed for a team-approach in patient care.
