The Counseling Center provides workshops and presentations to student groups and classes on a wide variety of topics. We are happy to arrange programs that may be of interest to your group or class. We are also willing to be part of a panel discussions.
How to make a request:
- Please request a program at a minimum of three weeks in advance of the anticipated program date.
- To arrange for a program in Denton, please email the completed Outreach Request Form to Dr. Marshall Bewley at mbewley@twu.edu.
- To arrange for a program in Dallas or Houston, pleases call the Counseling Center at your location.

Consultation Services
The Counseling Center staff is available to consult with individuals (faculty, students, or staff) and groups about issues that involve the welfare of a student or group of students. We are happy to discuss your needs for consultation and provide any assistance appropriate to your situation. For more information, call the Counseling Center on your campus. Some general examples of previous consultations include:
- Concern about a roommate or friend
- Communications skills within a campus organization
- Difficulties between faculty and students
- Difficulties between staff and students
