Online Assessments
We have partnered with Mental Health Screenings, Inc. to allow TWU students to assess themselves in regard to depression, bipolar disorder, alcohol, eating disorders, generalized anxiety and post-traumatic stress. While these screening instruments are not meant to replace discussions with a counselor, they can be useful in helping you to determine whether or the degree to which these issues may be troubling you. Ulifeline
The Jed Foundation has created Ulifeline.org, a Web-based resource that provides students with a non-threatening and supportive link to their respective college's mental health center as well as important mental health information. Students are able to download information about mental health and mental illness, ask questions, be referred to the TWU Counseling Center to make appointments, and seek other help anonymously via the Internet.
