Admission Information

In order to be considered for admission in TWU SLP Master's Program - TETN Venue, you must:
  1. have an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or have completed the required prerequisite classes
  2. have a GPA of at least 3.0.
  3. have a competitive score on the GRE.  There is no minimum score, but admission is very competitive.
  4. complete all paperwork by the deadline.

More information and admissions materials will be available at one of the mandatory meetings listed below.

TWU SLP Master's Program- TETN Venue

Prior to applying for the TETN  venue, students MUST attend an information meeting for that cycle. 

After attending a Mandatory Meeting you may Apply to the Department.  Departmental applications and Recommendation forms are available on the Forms page.  

All the information meetings have been held for Cycle 7. If you did not attend a mandatory information meeting, you are ineligible to apply to Cycle 7. If approved, Cycle 8 would begin in 2015, with information meetings being held beginning in 2014. Information about Cycle 8 will be posted on our website when available.

If you or any of your family members have any of the following voice problems, you can receive a voice evaluation and recommendations at the TWU Speech and Hearing Clinic on the Denton campus for a nominal fee of $5.  More about “Voice Evaluations”...

Girl Scout Program

What does it take to communicate without speech? This fun workshop will be all about communication. Girls will learn about non-verbal communication and body language. The American Sign Language alphabet, some phrases, and even part of a song will be taught.  Please make checks and money orders payable to SOCS. More Information and Application Form (doc)
