Registration Deadline

Registration deadlines vary by program. Web registration will be accepted through the day before the program starts unless otherwise specified in the program description. At times, registrations may be accepted until the actual start time of the program.

Payment of Fees

Payment is due at the time of registration and can be paid by using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, a valid purchase order, or payment by check. Please note that your registration is not final until the credit card transaction is complete or we receive a copy of a valid purchase order. If you ask to be billed for the course, we must receive a copy of the valid purchase order within five days of registration. Please fax a copy of the purchase order to 940.898.3416. If you do not submit a purchase order and you are requesting that we bill you, you agree to assume full responsibility for payment. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

To cancel your registration, please send an email to lifelonginfo@twu.edu or call 940.898.3408. Registrants who find it necessary to cancel will receive a refund, less a processing fee (varies for different events). To receive a refund, you must submit written notification seven days prior to the event start date. Substitutions may be made at any time. Refunds will not be issued once the event starts. The Office of Lifelong Learning reserves the right to cancel the event if sufficient enrollment is not met. In doing so, Texas Woman's University's liability is limited to the registration fee.

Refunds/Withdrawals for Non-Credit Online Courses and Certificate Programs (Gatlin Education Services)

The majority of GES programs can be completed within 90 to 180 days. Since our programs are self-paced, it has been our policy to work with students until they are able to complete their program. When students need more time, we are happy to accommodate their needs. If a student, for whatever reason, is not able to continue with their training, we will make arrangements for the student to take time off and complete their course when it is convenient for them. The only reason we would give a refund would be if we fail to perform. If it is our fault the student is not able to complete their program, we will give the student a full refund. If a student simply wants to withdraw and will not accept our policy to defer their training, they are not entitled to a refund. Students are given all materials and complete access to their entire course upon registration, so partial refunds are not an option. The basic GES policy on refunds is that once the course is accessed either by requesting materials or viewing lessons there are no refunds. Of course, GES will follow the school's policy if a student has received a sub-par product from GES as determined by the school.
