Sherri Williams, Assistant Director

Sherri has worked in the Career Connections Center for over 12 years. She also has 7 ½ years of Human Resources experience.  She is a graduate of UNT and TWU, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Education from UNT and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from TWU.

Elizabeth has a background in Human Resources Administration,  with over five years of experience in the private and public sector.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

"It’s not enough to have just a degree anymore; students must develop transferable skills that will make them more marketable upon graduation. Employers are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well with others.  Working while in school, for even a few hours a week, can help students develop these valuable skills.”

We now offer drop-by career advising hours! Come by and meet one-on-one with Career Connections Center staff for a quick resume critique or to get answers to your career-related questions. Please drop by on:

  • Tuesdays, 12pm-2pm
  • Wednesdays, 10am-12pm
  • Thursdays, 2:30pm-4:30pm

No appointment needed. Service is on a first-come, first-served basis.
