Refund for Withdrawal from ALL classes - Spring 2010:

January 15, 2010; 5 p.m. -                         100% less $15.00 matriculation fee
January 19-25, 2010; 5 p.m. -                     80% of refundable amount*
January 26-February 1, 2010; 5 p.m. -      70% of refundable amount*
February 2-8, 2010; 5 p.m. -                       50% of refundable amount*
February 9-15, 2010; 5 p.m. -                     25% of refundable amount*

 

Refund for Dropping a Course(s):

Dropping courses applies to all students who remain enrolled in at least one semester credit hour.

Spring  February 3, 2010 5 p.m.  100% of course amount

IMPORTANT:  Dropping credit hours or withdrawing from the semester may affect your financial aid award.  Students receiving financial aid should contact the Financial Aid Office before dropping or withdrawing.  If you have dropped hours or withdrawn from the University, the term balance may not reflect the necessary adjustments.  Please allow 10 business days for adjustments to be processed.

Refund of Credit Balances

TWU has contracted with HigherOne, a third party vendor to facilitate all student account related refunds for excess financial aid, loans, and credit balances due for dropped classes or other account adjustments.  New students will receive the TWU/MasterCard dual logo TWUOne debit card by mail within two weeks of registration.  Upon receipt, the card must be activated and a preferred method to receive the refunds selected.  Students have two options: 

  • TWUOne Easy Refund-same day availability
  • ACH to an existing bank account-one to three business days

Please allow 10 business days for drop and withdrawal adjustments.  Please contact the Bursar’s office 940-898-3570 after the waiting period to request your refund.
