Blackboard Guest Account
Blackboard guest accounts may be requested for off-campus users for university-related reasons. The request must come from a faculty or staff member who assumes responsibility. It is the responsibility of the requester to enroll the user in the chosen courses.
A Service Desk Ticket must be filled out and submitted by a faculty or staff member of TWU. Include in the Service Desk Ticket a description, the full name of the guest, their valid email address and purpose of guest account. Once the guest account has been created, notification will be sent to the requestor with the login information.
Blackboard Organization Shell
Organizations in Blackboard are Blackboard shells set up for the purpose of facilitating activities outside of classes for university sanctioned student organizations or departmental organizations. Blackboard organizations may be requested by student led university recognized organizations, or affiliated with academic or administrative departments. A Blackboard Organization must be requested by a permanent faculty or staff member of TWU, who assumes responsibility for the Blackboard Organization site contents and use.
A Service Desk Ticket must be filled out and submitted by a faculty or staff member of TWU. Include in the Service Desk Ticket a description, the name of the organization, description or purpose, is this a sanctioned TWU student organization and is it an organization associated with a TWU department.
