The 2017 TWU Science Fair will take place Saturday, April 8, 2017!!!
Registration will open January 6, 2017.

The TWU Science Fair is presented by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Chemistry and Biology departments. The Science Fair provides a venue for showcasing young talent, hard work, creativity, and achievement in the scientific field. Students receive valuable feedback on their science projects and compete within their grades and age groups for trophy prizes. All students are awarded ribbons for their efforts.

Registration

Registration for the TWU Science Fair will open on December 9, 2016. All application must be received by Friday, March 31st at 5:00 p.m. A non-refundable registration fee of $10 is required for each participant.

Rules & Procedures

Schedule

The 28th annual TWU Science Fair is Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm, in two sessions (a morning session for K-3 and an afternoon session for 4-8). As of 2016, participants must be present at both check-in and the awards ceremony in order to be eligible for any awards or raffle prizes.

Morning Session: Kindergarten - 3rd Grade

7:45 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Check-in & Exhibit Set-up

9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Student Activities and Tours

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. KEM Club Magic Show

12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. Awards Assembly

12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Project Viewing

1:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Project Pick-up (All Morning Session projects must be picked up by 2:00 p.m.)

Afternoon Session: 4th - 8th Grade

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Check-in & Exhibit Set-up

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Student Activities and Tours

4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. KEM Club Magic Show

5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Awards Assembly

5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Project Viewing

6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Project Pick-up (All Afternoon Session projects must be picked up by 6:30 p.m.)
