Biology Honors Scholars
Every year, exceptional biology students are accepted into the TWU Honors Scholar Program.
This program requires a capstone research project be undertaken by the student under the guidance of one of the biology faculty.
In order to arrange for a capstone research project, Biology Honors Scholars should:
- As soon as you are excepted into the honor scholar program, scholars should look over the research areas of each faculty member to identify research topics of interest to them.
-
Before Spring Break of their Junior year (earlier is better and Freshman are encouraged), students should identify three (3) or more faculty and make arrangements to
- meet with them
- learn about their research
- discuss with the professor about the possibility of doing research in their lab.
- Fill out the form below and provide it to the Chair of Biology.
