Chancellor's Alumni Excellence Award

The Chancellor's Alumni Excellence Award, which may be given up to twice a year, recognizes TWU graduates for exceptional accomplishment in a career field and/or public service.  Recipients are honored permanently on a recognition wall in the foyer of Hubbard Hall on the TWU-Denton campus.  Selection for the award is determined by a committee of university faculty, administrators, alumni, and students.  Honorees for this award are invited to one of the TWU campus locations within a year of their selection to share their expertise and experiences with faculty and students.

Distinguished Alumni Awards

The Distinguished Alumni Award is awarded each year to as many as three individuals who have brought honor and distinction to their alma mater through their asscomplishments. More about “Distinguished Alumni Awards”...

How to Nominate

The nominator will be responsible for providing:

• Nomination Form
• Nomination deadline 10/14/2012
• A cover letter nominating the graduate to be honored, with particular attention to the selection criteria
• A vitae or professional resume of the nominee
• 3 support letters from others for the nominee

Honorees

TWU Hallmark Award

The HALLMARK AWARD is presented annually to TWU graduates who have, through the use of their education and/or the conduct of their personal life, had a significant positive effect on their chosen profession or on their community.

Considerations for the award:

• Hold at least one degree from Texas Woman’s University
• Hold a position of distinction or leadership within the chosen profession
• Have contributed long-lasting benefits to the larger community
• Exemplify the Pioneering Spirit of TWU and its history

As many as two awards may be given each year. Presentation will be at the April ACCOLADES Awards Luncheon.

Selection for this award will be made for the year 2013 by the current Distinguished Alumni committee. During the next year the nomination and selection process will be reviewed and revised.
