For those who want to get a four-year degree or even a graduate degree in Collin County, there will be a new place to do it, beginning in January. The Texas Higher Education Board today gave Collin College, a two-year school, the green light to open the Collin Higher Education Center in McKinney.
TWU Receives 2009 Star Award
TWU’s Partnering for Teachers program with the Dallas Independent School District received a 2009 Star Award from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECG).
“This recognition highlights the value of collaboration in helping the state meet its education goals,” said Dr. Barbara Lerner, TWU Director of Academic Outreach.
TWU was one of six in the state to receive a Star Award, which recognizes contributions toward achieving the goals of the THECB’s Closing the Gaps program. More on Star Award...
