All students enrolled in distance education courses are responsible for knowing and adhering to TWU guidelines and policies. Here are a few of the most important ones for distance education students:
  • Academic Integrity
  • Code of Student Conduct
  • Disability Support Services
  • TWU Academic Records Policy
  • Computer Lab and Technology Use Policies [pdf]
  • Learning Management Policy [pdf]
  • International Students
International students who hold F-1 and J-1 visa status cannot enroll in academic programs that are defined as 100% distance education (online degrees). An international student may be admitted to the University for such programs but is only authorized to complete those from her/his own country, and not in the United States.
  • Directory Publication Information
Each year, the TWU campus publishes an annual directory that list each student’s full name, local and permanent address, telephone number, email address, classification and other information [see below]. If you do not wish to have your information listed in the directory, it is your responsibility to complete and fax a “Request To Withhold Directory Information” form along with a picture ID to the Registrar's Office at 940.898.3097. In order for your information to be withheld from the directory – you must complete the form prior to the census date of each semester or session.
