Campus Manager
Welcome to the office of the Campus Manager, Texas Woman's University - Institute of Health Sciences, Houston Center. It is my privilege to work together with Staff, Faculty, Directors, Department Chairs, Deans, Vice Presidents, Provost, and our President/Chancellor to afford our students with a learning environment and community rich in diversity of experience and discovery.
We are fortunate to be physically located within the heart of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Through our ongoing associations and partnerships with other member institutions of the TMC, we are able to afford our students and faculty with opportunities that could not be obtained elsewhere in world. We can unequivocally affirm that we continually fulfill the university vision through "Connecting Excellence to the Real World."
All of us are extremely proud of our university system and our campus in Houston, and ask that you please take a few moments to peruse our campus and while you're at it -- visit our TWU Measure of Excellence at http://www.twu.edu/twunews/twu-brags.asp.

Central Services / Mailroom
A warm smile will greet you when you enter the area of Central Services/Mailroom. Ms. Sandra Compton-Winbush is responsible for coordinating the receipt of incoming mail and packages from other TWU Centers and the postal service. Although she sells no postage, she can accept and place in the outgoing mail, correspondence that is ready to be sent. Ms. Compton-Winbush will be glad to weigh items in an effort to help identify the amount of postage necessary for sending articles. To have mail go out the same day, please have mailing items into Central Services by 10 am, Monday through Friday.
Additionally, the copy machines on the 1st and 4th Floors (1245 and 4132-ARC) are within her jurisdiction. If you have trouble with the machines please report it to Ms. Compton-Winbush. In those exceptions where the machine is not functioning properly or more than 20 copies of the same page need to be made, Ms. Compton-Winbush will be able to make copies for you in the Central Services area for 9 cents-a-copy charge (18 cents for duplex).
