TWU’s spirit leader leaves big shoes to fill

It may have been Andy Hackett’s final activity when he crossed the stage to accept his diploma from Texas Woman’s University, but the legacy he left behind as the university’s spirit leader means there will be very big shoes to fill.

TWU receives grant to support students to study abroad

Texas Woman's University has received a grant from the IIE American Passport Project to provide up to 25 students with their first U.S. passport.

Theatre students honored by Kennedy Center

Eight students from the Texas Woman's University Theatre Division earned meritorious achievement awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for their efforts in the performance of Eurydice.

As long as she can remember, Maya Schwickert’s life has revolved around creativity and curiosity. As she concludes her freshman year at Texas Woman's University, Schwickert is already a champion artistic swimmer, an award-winning chemistry student, and an accomplished mathematician.
